A Mutable or Mutables is a slang term for groups who draw by giving their members access to magic through (often times very sophisticated) enchanted items. Much like a Machanist but as a cohesive unit, usually with one or two signature items. Each group typically has some sort of binding ideology, though a few stayed together entirely as criminal syndicates. The Order of Wizard Breakers is often described unfavorably as a Mutable, but in point of fact the group did not meet the criteria. The Ampthet Eight was a less well known if more archetypal example.
