The Last 800 Club was an unofficial social organization that operated on Utopia Gregaria for a little over a decade in the last Sixth Age. The primary function of the club was to restore and complete hull number N-808-B-305, the last remaining N-808 hull on the registry.

Purpose

Some members thought they might be able to sell the ship once it was completed, others had designs on using it for exploration or recreation. A lot of the members were junior yard workers looking to gain some extra experience. Most of the club ultimately just enjoyed the whole pleasures of working with ones own hands. The majority were single men who had little else to do in their free time. As a result, a lot of the ship ended up being used as a sort of clubhouse, with bars and theaters and luxury suites built wherever.

Impact

After over a decade of half-assed work, The Last 800 Club had brought the N-808-B-305 hull to about 70% of operational readyness when the birth they'd been using was finally called into service. The hull was originally re-slated for weapons testing, but intervention by club members had it "accidentally" misplaced in the Trophy Fleet.
