The Exceptional Accommodations Program is a medical aid system sponsored by the Gudersnipe Foundation. Under it, patients suffering from maladies which hinder their ability to lead productive lives can receive treatment at low or no cost, regardless of economic status. While ostensibly intended to bolster the workforce, medical facilities participating in the program are given extensive latitude in who is or is not eligible for treatment.

The program makes heavy use of biosynthetic replication technology to replace damaged tissue or organs, and is best known for replacing lost limbs. The medical technology can repair virtually any injury except brain damage.

Officially, the program was created to bolster the work force. However, statements made from anonymous high-ranking Foundation officials admit that in practice it is little more than a charitable program with some ancillary benefits. Among them, most actual surgeries are performed by surgical interns under the supervision of senior instructors, allowing them to gain more real-world practice than could be otherwise achieved. Outside commentators also speculate the program exists to create "good will" for the Gudersnipe Foundation.
