The Trials are a series of tests that must be completed in order for a trainee to become a Slayer Dragon. The original Ten did not undertake any sort of tests, though Trials were instituted for the very next generation of Slayer Dragons.

Uther himself laid down many of the original trails, though they would continue to change and evolve for several centuries, until they were finally solidified near the end of the Golden Age of the Slayer Dragons, roughly a century before the close of the First Age.

The Trials

The Trials are highly ritualistic and many are very symbolic. They are largely based on events of the life and times of The Ten.
