Each weapon has a supertype, type, and subtype. Supertype is the proficiency it uses, type is the sort of weapon, and subtype is the exact type. Example: a longsword is supertype: bladed, type: swords, subtype: longsword. For the purposes of sanity, previty, and page-width, tables will be created at the type-level.
Sample Weapon Table:
Old:
Name | Sub-Type | Damage | Hand | Description | Quality | Rarity | Weight | Size |
Generic Longsword | Longsword | 1d6 | 1h | A basic, very generic sword. Standard point-and-poke interface. Hold the dull end, poke with the pointy end. | Poor | Common | 4 | Medium |
New:
|
A basic, very generic sword. Standard point-and-poke interface. Hold the dull end, poke with the pointy end. |
These tables are for basic weapon-types. Named items will include more information in the description such as enchantments and whatnot.
