MRPG Checklist
Revision as of 00:15, 26 September 2017 by CourseDirector (talk | contribs)
- Units unit list needs to be completed, but the basic concept is done
- Playable Races -workable concept complete, details required. - maybe focus more on Skills than stats.profs ? Would give distinction in PVE without effecting combat system as much. Would be a way to make the races different without pigeonholing them in to combat roles.
- Separate Lore and Transcription back into two separate skills.
- Need to finish Focus Items
- Spell lists need revision
- Specifically the exo-mage spell list needs to be overhauled because I forgot how the Junction System worked halfway through writing it.
- When re-writting spell list, add rules that draw on the Strength stat for Physical spells.
- Mystical spells should have a higher star-rating, but deal less damage if they have a damage component.
- Need to make a much bigger power-gulf between fast-cast and slow-cast
- MRPG Scrolls needs help. Scroll list will be put together with spell list overhaul, certain spells will get a "has scroll" tick.
- Weapons need to have all the nitty-gritty work done.
- Add throwing weapons, separate category
Class Overhaul
The overhaul to the classes drops each class down to just 3 base proficiencies. At character creation, they will choose 2 more. There will be limits and rules.
For example: A warrior MUST choose a weapon proficiency.
Mages will begin with their three magic proficiency.
As part of the class overhaul, I need to work on the Lore, Transcription, and Blugeon proficiency. I might eliminate blugeon and make it work like Inherent Dodge.
Notes
This is a scratch-space for ideas:
- Give weapons special effects on crit!
- Invent a system for spells to crit.
- modify Activated Abilities to include rules on proficiencies, EG "special attacks" require appropriate "special proficiency".
- WRITE RULES FOR STEALTH!
