The first female Pendragon of Slayer Dragons, and the first Pendragon to take up the sword after Uther's death. She was annointed under her predeccessor, Jayce Spearlock, in A.Y. 1102, and was also the very first Pendragon to be annointed and take up the sword under the newly-formed Slayer Dragon Count, which she championed and supported.
Despite all of her accomplishments, Astrid is perhaps unfortunately best known for popularizing Heart's Day, a holiday that would come to be celebrated all over the Alliance. Curiously, despite encouraging a holdifay about true love, Astrid was life-long single, and is not known to have had any romantic interests.
