These were not common enchanted pieces that, but things made during the [[Mage Wars#The Dynastic Period\|Dynastic Period]]. The kind of highly-developed, advanced items that had been made for kings and generals in an era now past. When the dynasties fell, they made their way into the hands of common adventurers.

			Relicqui were set apart because by the possession of these items, which usually made them strong enough to hang on to them. A mundane individual could be imbued with nigh-mythical powers by strapping on a set of enchanted armor and drawing a magic sword. They became very powerful. Some established themselves as warlords, others went in search of greater items or simple wealth. But many, must particularly in the Agras region
